James Applegath of Defunkd is auctioning off 20 vintage Live Aid t-shirts with 100% of the profits going to Africa Aid.

Everyone should help out and go bid on these shirts!

I believe the money is going towards famine relief, which was the original goal for the Live Aid concert in 1985. I hate to sound arrogant, but since AIDS is the more “attention-getting” problem these days, it’s nice to see someone is giving the profits from sales of the original shirts to help the original cause! Sounds like Defunkd has the right idea with this effort.

Thanks Vintage Chick! It was my mistake labeling it as fund raising for aids. Rather than Africa Aid. Whoops!
